The Woodyard Site (Hwy 127) and Fairgrounds Site will be closing their gates at 5:45 PM. Monday – Saturday, in order to allow the workers to provide cleanup and sanitation at these sites.

Are you eligible for Medicare and curious about your plan options? Upper Cumberland SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) is conducting a series of FREE ABCs of Medicare! Classes on Tuesday, July 11, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Upper Cumberland Development District (UCDD) office located at 1104 England Drive in Cookeville. Monday, July 24, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Millard Oakley Library located at 107 E. Main Street in Livingston; and on Wednesday, July 26, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the White County Library located at 11 N. Church Street in Sparta.
Each class will consist of training on Parts A, B, C & D, as well as Medigap policies and ways to prevent Medicare fraud. Registration for each class is required. To register, please call 931-423-4150.
